Project 3 Mobility is looking for an ERP Business Analyst who would work with project sponsors and internal/external stakeholders to lead the capture of business requirements, map new business process models, challenge the norm and drive benefit through successful implementation and adoption. This person needs to have 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally within a consultancy environment, and would be working directly with our Head of IT on the wider Digital Transformation Programme. We are looking for an organised, curious, and analytical individual with great inter-personal skills. 

The ERP Business Analyst needs to deeply understand various requirements capture techniques, be comfortable and confident holding multi-stakeholder workshops (remote and onsite) and have the ability to challenge and add value by bringing new perspectives to business challenges.  The successful candidate will have a significant stakeholder network to manage, therefore having experience of working in a complex organisation or Programme(s), acting as the conduit between the Business, the Programme and Third Parties is a must.  They must also be hands on in delivery and have experience of successfully implementing business change that sticks.  Testing, Training, User Adoption and Organisational Change Management are also a key aspect of the role. Proficiency in written and spoken English is a must. The location of the role is Midlands UK (Warwick).

REQUIREMENTS  

The ERP Business Analyst’s prime responsibilities are to support, and hands-on deliver the required activities to produce the following “outputs”: 

Business Change – new “ways of working” 

  • In alignment with the new ERP solution, focus on the activities required to implement new business change effectively 

  • Modifications to the current operational design 

  • Defining new and changed processes/ working practices 

  • Identify relevant staff skills and expertise needs 

  • Defining inter-functional relationships, expectations, and operational service level agreements 

  • Promoting the detailed understanding and the implications of any changes 

Design – the detailed design of the “how”   

  • Capture of functional & non-requirements, in a User Story format that will act as the baseline for solution design & build. 

  • Will produce the design of business component/capabilities demanded to address an identified business need.   

  • Business processes will be defined, agreed upon with the business and factored into the solution design. 

  • Assist in the implementation of solutions & process to a high standard, gaining business adoption & passing any acceptance criteria.

REQUIRED SKILLS, COMPETENCIES AND PERSONAL QUALITIES 

Qualifications  

  • BCS – BA Practitioner, PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis), CBAP (Certified Lead Analyst Professional) or equivalent qualifications. 

Knowledge 

  • Knowledge of ERP Transformation Programmes (essential) 

  • Exposure to tier 1 ERP Providers, such as: SAP S4 Hana, IFS, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics (preferable) 

  • Knowledge of the vehicle manufacturing processes (preferable) 

Experience 

  • Exposure to multiple industries, business models and processes 

  • Experience of full project lifecycles 

  • Experience of process development and data-modelling  

  • Experience of Agile User Story requirements capture
