Technical Project Manager - Infotainment / Digital Entertainment (UK/CRO)

Project 3 Mobility is looking for a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead the development of our infotainment and cockpit management system. The TPM will work with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to define and deliver an innovative, class leading automotive infotainment system.  This person needs to have 8+ years of relevant experience, ideally with experience working within an Automotive Tier1 supplier or in the consumer electronics industry.   We are looking for someone with experience of hardware and software development, delivering products based on the Android Ecosystem. The role will report to the Head of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Position can be located in UK or in Croatia.


REGULAR TASKS

  • Project planning and management, including reporting the status at programme reviews
  • Requirements definition and capture, working with cross functional stakeholders.
  • Management of multiple suppliers of software and hardware
  • System level integration planning and testing, specification of test properties
  • Management of cost and mass
  • DFMEA creation and management
  • Definition of the hardware and software rollout strategy
  • Running a regular cross functional project meeting
  • Supporting the functional safety and cybersecurity life cycle
  • and other tasks as assigned by a line manager


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure target balancing is aligned to attribute strategy
  • Ensure attribute verification plan (virtual and physical) is robust and affordable
  • Ensure prototype / mule provision supports broader requirement verification plan
  • Ensure appropriate test facilities are identified and available to support plan
  • Ensure any non-compliances are identified and plans to address agreed
  • Ensure all targets and associated test results are robustly documented and reported
  • Ensures customer focus in attribute balancing activities
  • Ensures vehicle led user journeys are successfully delivered
  • Ensures design changes include appropriate validation actions


REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Knowledgeable in, and has experience delivering Android products
  • Has a passion for the digital zeitgeist
  • Engages with emerging technologies in social media and consumer electronics
  • Has global awareness of trends in social media and consumer electronics and gaming
  • Strategic thinking
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in a “Startup” business is desirable
  • Experience with Jama or other requirements management system is desirable
