Project 3 Mobility is looking for a Testing & Training Lead in charge of overseeing the end-to-end testing cycle for our Digital Transformation Programme – Horizon. The Lead develops a strategy for both our approach to Testing (inclusive of UAT, SIT and FT where required) and how we will deliver training across the entire business to ensure the highest levels of adoption and capability from each phased go live. The Lead champions and promotes best practices in testing and training methodologies and is an advocate of their areas of expertise.

Day to day management of test cycles, working closely with the programme SMEs, Business Owners and Functional consultants
Management of defects, from diagnosis through to rectification.
Effective prioritisation of workloads and management of multiple cross functional / cross value stream testing scenarios.
Hands on input into test cases, user acceptance criteria and the planning of resources to execute.
Understanding the needs of the business and implementing right sized training schedules / plans that will add knowledge and skill into the organisation at the right level, at the right time.
Creating different training methods and environments in which different people can learn in different ways, ensuring maximum engagement and adoption of materials.
Play a critical communications role by interacting with project team members, SMEs, end users and sponsors.
Play a key member of the core project team, helping make timely and informed decisions on project planning, readiness for implementation and delivery and early life support.

Creation and delivery of end-to-end Testing and Training strategies
Working within the wider programme team and ensuring the correct governance and processes are put into place
Is expected to act independently to deliver and manage test cases and training material. Is self-driven and motivated. Requires minimal supervision, and knows when to engage direct management
Management of all critical testing and training milestones within the wider programme plan
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Strong and appropriate testing and training experience / exposure, with the ability to take the technical and making it relevant for the end user and to all levels of management
Strong team management and 3rd party management skills
Ability to deploy and manage resources, to achieve/exceed objectives in a dynamic operating environment
Comfortable dealing with all types and levels of stakeholders and team members to understand and accomplish objectives
Strong understanding of, and comfort with, end-to-end testing cycles and defect handling
Strong MS-Office skills, including Excel, Word, Access, Visio and PowerPoint
Significant knowledge of various testing and training software suites
Experience in creating and executing various training techniques such as train the trainer, conference room pilots, online and offline training journeys.
Experience of delivering significant training initiatives (250 people +) and able to demonstrate where these have been successful.
Strong mediation skills, and ability to deal with and resolve conflict and gain consensus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and management
Ability to effectively communicate both in person and remotely to accomplish objectives
